In this series of beginner workshops, no previous experience is necessary.
The class is 4 hours long and you will be learning how to use a tufting machine, the best practices for tufting and how to finish your artwork.
For your project you’ll be tufting a 50x50cm design that you could choose to have as a wall hanging or as a rug. Use your own image or one of the designs provided. We’ll need to know which image you would like to tuft 48hrs before the day of your workshop.
At the end of the class you will learn how to apply a backing glue layer to fix the wool in place. The glue takes about an hour to dry so we’ll finish the backing for your project and it will be available for pick up at a later date.
